At a CLA Higher Education (HE) Practitioner Focus Group meeting on Monday 5 December, representatives from HE institutions urged the CLA to extend the HE licence to cover the use of images included within the CLA repertoire.
They were clear that for images, this would need to be a blanket licence without reporting requirements, so that academics could source for themselves the images they needed from books and journals. CLA representatives said they would think about this request to have images covered further by the HE Licence.
